The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway is a delightfully restored 5-mile branch line which joins the national railway network at Keighley in West Yorkshire and runs up the Worth Valley through Haworth's famous Bronte Country to the village of Oxenhope.

The village of Oxenhope is 1.5 miles away, with the terminus of the Worth Valley Railway. There is a park in the village with childrens play area, tennis courts and a bowling green, and several pubs which serve bar snacks. There is an excellent Co-Op store serving all types of food; fruit, etc, and a Post Office, Newsagent and hairdresser.

Haworth, of Bronte fame, is about 2 miles away, and boasts the Bronte Parsonage Museum. In the old cobbled Main St., there are shops, pubs, and various tea rooms, and lower down in Haworth there is a station for the Worth Valley Railway.

There are various other activities available within a short distance. Bradford is home to the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television, the near by Skipton Castle is one of the best preserved in England and if you have children with you the Eureka Science Museum in Halifax is a fun and educational day out for them.
